Monty Montgomery joins forces with “Art Kills Artists” in San Diego, Ca.

I have proudly joined on with the “Art Kills Artists” crew here in San Diego.  “Art Kills Artists understands what it means to be a “starving artist” and hopes to help those in need by killing two birds with one stone. What? Art Kills Artists is not only an online collection of starving artists that express the talent and quality of truly professional artists but is a place for the masses to come and feel confident that our intense screening process only allows the sales of quality work. -Jason Feather

“Reverse” has found a home in Corpus Christi, Texas!

“Reverse” is all shined up and ready to roll to Stacy Mcneer in Corpus Christi, Texas! I really wanted to keep this piece around for a while as it only made it into three exhibitions but it’s found it’s new home.  The crow is becoming my good friend, we spend a lot of time together. “Enter” purchased by Bryant Katzen in San Diego, Ca.

After almost ten years of traveling through life with me and my career as a painter, “Enter” which has been my baby through the years has now found a home. Pumped that a new, great friend of mine, Bryant Katzen of San Diego, Ca. purchased the piece for his East Village pad. It’s hard letting go of a piece of work that means so much and has carried you through many testing moments, but it’s a super cool feeling when you completely know that it is with the right person.

“3″ is purchased by Amy Lemley in Charlottesville, Va.

A new piece titled “3″ was so many intense emotions from a past situation turned into a positive changing motion that we all need to go through.. Read about what you must do to feel these emotions under the piece in the “2009″ paintings section. This piece now hangs with “Instant Instinct” and “My Condition” in the collection of Amy Lemley who lives in Charlottesville, Va.
