Work of art statement: Emotion pouring from my soul. One green tear of sadness. A feeling that only I can talk about and express, I could only paint the feeling that I came across as time delivered this attack. To lose a loved one is loss forever. I completed this piece after my grandfather passed on. My first experience with the loss of someone that I love. I miss you Slick. I know that you are still here. Original painting created in Mr. Edmonsons painting class at Longwood College in 1996.
