The first annual San Diego Entrepreneur Day Festival is “By, For and About Entrepreneurs™”.

“The Evolution of a Startup begins with the Entrepreneur™”.

Entrepreneur Day is a county-wide outreach and entertainment event providing many of the following benefits such as: learning how to launch a startup concept and growing an existing company/business, and areas related to: customer acquisition, new product/service education, future partnerships, investor introductions, inventors, mentors, as well as other interactive and useful experiences and activities for all who attend. Other opportunities include: match making in the areas of business and customer development, product demonstrations, market research surveys, talent search, internships, resume workshops, employment interviews, companies seeking distributors, and manufacturing and suppliers, and potentially military-veteran transition opportunities.

We are respectfully submitting our request to have the City of San Diego proclaim September 22, 2012 as “Entrepreneur Day”.  Get involved with us and our special guests from The Office of the City of San Diego, Federal Government and other VIPs to cut the opening ceremony ribbon. Let’s “Discover, Recognize, Collaborate and Celebrate Entrepreneurship™” – For one day, if all of the entrepreneurial communities can come together it will only help the U.S. economy grow stronger as a whole.

In the race to be “America’s Most Entrepreneurial City”, this event is scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2012 – from 10AM to 5PM with an after event party from 6PM to 9PM. The venue is located in the popular downtown East Village Business District, San Diego’s largest eclectic urban neighborhood with trendy warehouse-loft style buildings, adjacent to Petco Park.  The East Village Association (501(c)3 Non-profit) is this event’s official community outreach partner.

San Diego Entrepreneur Day will inspire many people, including students, and bring confidence to those looking to take their business concepts to reality by meeting their peers.
