Work of Art statement: This piece began in the San Diego studio as a collaborative painting by Chris Cho and myself. Chris drew and painted the water colored image of “G” and then I brought in all of the color and line work “LIVE” at Blackbird Ordinary during Art Basel 2017 while “G” Love and Special Sauce was getting down on stage. Garrett has been a great friend over the years and become one of my top collectors. It was an honor to join them for the get down in Miami and to bring this piece to life. www.philadelphonic.com
