Rising Phoenix opens it’s doors in an evening Open House Event with a Silent Auction!
San Marcos, California – October 20, 2013, 5:00pm – 10:00pm
Come and join us for an exciting event and fundraiser to help our current military service members and veterans. Rising Phoenix Equine Rehabilitation Center will be raising funds to begin a program using horses that have come into the Center to heal the invisible wounds incurred by war such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, combat related trauma and Traumatic Brain Injury.
An open house event, the evening will feature fire spinning, cover bands and a silent auction. Held on the grounds of Rising Phoenix Equine Rehabilitation, people attending will see first-hand where horses and veterans alike will receive treatment and healing.
Sara Blann and Will Allsopp will be discussing equine therapy and the importance of helping our injured soldiers, sailors and marines. In addition, they will be able to share success stories of the animals that we have helped through the Center, and how, going forward, this program will compliment the work being done with PTSD, combat related trauma and traumatic brain injured veterans. This event will be exciting! Come enjoy good food, people, and music and help support this worthy cause in a night that will be remembered.
Individual donations are accepted and encouraged.
Founded in 2010, Rising Phoenix Rehabilitation is located in San Marcos, California. It partners with the Intensive Outpatient Program on Camp Pendleton, San Diego Horse Coalition, and members of EGALA, with future associations with Wounded
